At the owners' suggestion, the new kitchen takes the place of an under-used dining room, creating a new focus for informal family living. Clean and contemporary, the new kitchen features maple cabinets, honed black granite counters and glass tile backsplashes.
A sun porch is transformed to create a new dining alcove at one end of the spacious existing living room. Featuring an impressive Tudor Revival fireplace, this room is renovated for formal entertaining and gathering.
Throughout the house, the existing elegant steel sash windows are refurbished and new recessed lighting installed to accent the crisp lines of the renovated interiors.
